Jesus Has Left The Building

Nope, the more investigating into the state of my PC I do, the more it costs me and the more hopeless it seems. It’s one of those legendary systems that continues to be broken even when every component has been replaced….

PC Resurrection

It looks like my computer will soon be up and running again, thanks to Mahinda. All I need is a CPU, which I will be purchasing off him.

To use a religious metaphor, it is as if I am God and my computer is Jesus.

God was always having trouble with Jesus. He was getting old and past it and parts of him kept dropping off. One day Jesus wouldn’t wake up and after getting nowhere, God had a fiddle accidentally gave him a heart attack. God got him a new heart from the organ donor service but realised he’d originally made Jesus with a tiny but efficient owl heart. His new heart was too big to fit inside his chest so he wired it up but left it hanging out for all the world to see. The world was a bit grossed out, so God decided to get Jesus a brand new heart complete with a spankingly shiny body to put it in.

Unfortunately God is a bit of an idiot and Jesus died during the operation. God was having trouble resurrecting him, and all the other dieties were laughing at him. He got new organs and tissue that should have turned Jesus into a meaner, tougher killing machine; say from Richard Wilson to Kevin Spacey. But he still wouldn’t wake up. God wasn’t quite sure what was up so he got a savvy angel to help him. It turned out the lovely new heart was somewhat dodgy (as confirmed when it blew up in the angel’s face) and the brain, which had arrived packed in kittens, didn’t work at all.

The old heart was put back in and the angel promised God he’d give him the nice little brain he’d had lying around the place.

And that’s what happened.
