Got to stop being in moods
What’s to say? I have no desire to get any kind of medical help, but I wish I wasn’t so completely at the mercy of my moods.
Two things are certain: a 27 year-old should be over this kind of thing (or at least have it under control), and no-one wants to hear about it.
That’s not a plea, BTW. If there was someone I felt I could talk to, I would be talking to them. This at least is a way of pretending I’m doing so.
Fecking angst. Sick of it. Can’t even remember if I’ve felt normal recently, can’t get perspective. Not when I’m this bleak.
Could someone tell me when I was last normal?
I should go to bed.

I think the problem is that you’re bored shitless. What do you have to look forward to in a day? The most positive thing you can do is to find a job which is more challenging. You’re an intelligent, capable bloke, and so need something more stimulating to keep you busy. You’re not going to be happy with a straightforward job. You’re in a building full of insurance people. Try finding out about the work and how you’d get into it. You know some people in insurance (at least one actuary, one broker & one underwriter).
I don’t think money should be your motivation in finding a job - it’s more important for you to do something at least slightly challenging.
