I think in terms of hourly rate you could do better playing $4/180's or turbo STT's, at least until you get up to where you can play 25NL. It's ridiculously easy just to 4-table $6.50 STT's and wait for people to give you money. If you're playing 10NL cash on Stars you're probably not getting much in terms of FPP's either (IIRC it takes a $20 pot to generate one, so you'll only get any if someone stacks someone else), so you're missing out on rakeback and bonuses, which is just free money.
